Happy Easter Part 1
Whether you do this solo or with others, your pup becomes the lead detective in a hilarious mystery featuring “suspects,” fake evidence, and a dramatic confession.

What You’ll Need:
Steal your dog’s favorite toy (or a treat) = The Missing Object
3–5 “suspects” = These can be:
- Stuffed animals (with notes taped to them)
- Friends or family (wearing bunny ears or hats for fun)
- Household items with a name tag (e.g., “Mr. Couch” or “The Blender”)
Treats for rewards
A printed or written clue card (optional)
Now Set Up The Mystery Case:
1. Choose a Spot for the "Interrogation Room."
- Line up the suspects in one area (a couch, table, or floor works fine).
2. Introduce Each Suspect One by One:
Use dramatic voices and gestures as you point to each:
- “This is Sir BunBun, a known toy chewer and suspiciously fluffy.”
- “Next up, Grandma Judy — she claims to have been at brunch, but we’re not so sure.”
- “And finally, The Vacuum — the fluff-eater himself.”
Let your dog sniff, react, or “question” them. If you're inviting your family to play, have each suspect deny the accusations. Have fun roleplaying and laughing together!
3. Drop Clues as You Go (Optional):
Use small pieces of fluff, treats, or torn paper to lead your dog from one suspect to the next.
4. Reveal the Culprit:
Pick whichever suspect you want as the "Bandit" and dramatically confess:
- “Alright, alright, it was me! I couldn’t resist the squeak!”
Hand your dog back their toy or a treat as their “recovered item.” Celebrate big with claps, silly fanfare, and maybe a detective badge made of paper or a sticker.
