Fourth Of July Part 1
Celebrate your dog’s personality like the true character they are — laughter, surprise, and original connection.
How To Play
1. Create 3–4 “contestant cards.”
These are silly identities that might (or might not) describe your dog. Each one should include:
- A name (e.g. Firecracker Frankie, Miss Wigglebottom, The Mystery Mop)
- A brief description/personality
- Their “special skill” and “holiday snack of choice”
Example: Contestant #2: The Mystery Mop
- A small, mysterious creature believed to be 30% dog, 70% floor fuzz. Known to vanish under couches. Special skill: staring into space. Holiday snack of choice: unseasoned hot dogs.
2. Act it out
- Read the bios dramatically to your dog like they’re about to enter a pageant
- After each one, offer your dog a simple choice that is assigned to a character (a toy, a path, or a trick)
- Based on what they choose or do, you decide: “Are you… Firecracker Frankie?!”
3. Reveal their true identity
Let your dog “win” the round by choosing the contestant that fits them best. When they do, crown them with a bandana, toy, or a cardboard star.
- Declare them the Official Star of the Fourth
- Do a silly “victory dance” together
- Optional Group Version: Everyone in the house makes up a contestant bio. Let the dog choose who they want to be today.
